I was in LA on business from Mon-Thu but managed to put in the planned miles. On Monday by the time I got back to the hotel it was past 11 pm. Not knowing the area I ended up doing 11 x .77 mile loops around the hotel parking lot perimeter. The next 3 days I got out early (my body was still on eastern time) and explored the residential roads near the hotel.

Been in Hershey PA with the family since Friday. Found a nearby trail that goes for miles through farms and fields. Wonderful rolling hills and great views.

Not focused on pace; just enjoying the views and putting in miles.

Everyone, Have a nice 4th

Randy

I was able to get in all my planned runs while on vacation. I also managed to avoid the sharks.

I'm always learning new stuff about endurance training. This week it was that I shouldn't eat a Hardee's Mushroom 'n Swiss Thickburger two hours before a long run.

Mon - 10 w/10xstrides
Tue - 14
Wed - 6
Thur - 12
Fri - 6
Sat - 18 Except for the couple miles leading up to and immediately after the thickburger incident, this was a great run.
Sun - 6

Total - 72  A new weekly high.
