T&FN heard from former steeplechase great Henry marsh, who set his first of four career ARs in '77 (8:21.55) and his final mark in '85 at 8:09.17. That mark survived for better than 20 years until Daniel Lincoln clocked 8:08.82 in Rome last Friday night.
