Looks like Browne wants to get with the lead pack. Looking for help from the likes of Rohatinsky but not getting any yet.

Browne is closing the gap. Hall, Ritz, Abdi, Meb, Browne just behind. Fasil Bizuneh has fallen off.

Reports are that the wind is picking up on the course.

Looks like this might turn into a 5 man race early on. Reports are the chase pack is 100 meters back. Just reported a 4:44 mile.

Josh Cox is breaking from the chase pack but he has a lot of ground to make up.

4:44 must have been a tail wind

Looks like Culpepper is dragging the chase pack out, hoping to gain some ground on the leaders.

4:44 could have also been downhill. This is in Central Park, a rolling course.

Khannouchi has now broken a bit from the pack. Chasing down Cox at the moment.

The wind is becoming a factor. Passed an hour with Khannouchi chasing down the lead pack of Abdi, Hall, Browne, Ritz, Meb.

4:59 for mile 12, just over 1:01.

If the wind is becoming a factor, it might make it hard for KK or for anyone else to bridge the gap.
