ALBANY -- Considering she won two years ago in a heavy downpour, Australia's Benita Johnson wasn't concerned about the wet forecast for Saturday's Freihofer's Run for Women.
The National Weather Service predicts a 70 percent chance of rain with temperatures in the mid-60s when the race begins at 9:15 a.m.
"It doesn't bother me at all," said Johnson, the two-time defending champion. "I'm fine in wet weather, fine in hot weather. I actually prefer conditions when they're very adverse. If it rains, then, I'll be even happier."
