EUGENE, Ore. --
Jordan Hasay’s unlikely yet thrilling run through the U. S. Olympic Track and Field Trials came to its expected conclusion Sunday.

Competing in her third race in four days, the 16-year-old phenom from Mission Prep finished in 10th place (4:17.36) in the women’s 1,500-meter final at Hayward Field in front of 21,176.

“I just really wanted to have fun out there,” Hasay said. “I didn’t really know how it was going to be, but I knew it was going to be a test because I never have really raced this much in a continuous period of time.”
