Greg McMillan is living his dream by helping aspiring Olympians accomplish theirs.
The 39-year-old exercise scientist's quest began nearly a decade ago when he set out to find the ideal location for his new business: McMillan Running. It took him six years to settle in Flagstaff after choosing the 7,000-foot haven over several other high-altitude sites in North America in 2001. Fortunately for McMillan, it took a lot less time to send an athlete to the Olympics.
Actually, the fledgling company will have two representatives at the Beijing Olympics. Not bad for a year's worth of work.
