Olympic and European gold medallist Sebastian Coe will be the keynote speaker at the European Athletics conference entitled 'Athletics for New Generations', in Oslo, Norway, 5-7 December.
Coe, who in addition to leading the organising committee for the 2012 Olympic Games in London is a member of both the IAAF Council and its School and Youth Commission, will speak about his personal experience in the sport and his vision for the future of youth athletics.
The conference, which is expected to attract more than 100 federation leaders, youth programme managers and coaches from Europe and around the world will address three main themes: Engagement & Retention, Talent Identification & Development and Towards a European Strategy for Youth Athletics.
