AFP Life athletics ban for drug cheat Blonska

KIEV (AFP) - Disgraced Ukrainian heptathlete Lyudmila Blonska and her coach have been banned for life by the Ukraine national athletics federation for failing a doping test for the second time in her career.

The 31-year-old Blonska tested positive for the anabolic steroid methyl-testosterone after she won the silver medal in the Olympic heptathlon competition in Beijing.

She had already served a two year ban after testing positive for the steroid stanozolol in 2003.
