The Oregon men’s cross country team has already been described as a “monster” this season.
The reigning NCAA champions welcome back their top seven runners this fall, paced by Olympian Galen Rupp, and the Ducks are the early pick to win back-to-back national titles for only the second time in school history.
The UO women are eager to join the party.
They finished second to Stanford at last year’s NCAA meet, and with six of their top seven runners returning, plus the addition of three senior transfers, their prospects are equally bright.
