Stuttgart, Germany - A road race starting at seven different points in the surroundings of Stuttgart will be staged by the local organisers of the IAAF / VTB World Athletics Final on day two of the event this coming Sunday (14 Sep).

The runners will all finish inside the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium, which is the venue of the IAAF / VTB World Athletics Final, 13 / 14 September.

Full distances between the various starting points in smaller cities and the arena will be between 21km and 30km. But runners are allowed to enter the race at various points along the routes. So there will also be the possibility of running just 6km for the less ambitious. Races will be started between 9 and 10.30am on Sunday. The aim is that all runners will arrive at the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium at roughly the same time.
