This is good advice - something that I really need to work on - especially since I am going out the door and driving to work 30-45 minutes after my morning run.  I need something that is portable, able to be consumed by hand and while driving.  I was thinking of Turkey sticks and cheese sticks for the protein - I'll have to give a bit more thought to the healthy carbs.
