Insight into the doping case of Liza Hunter-Galvan.  Interesting commentary on the video from both Lorraine Moller and Peter Snell, two luminaries in the sport both in New Zealand and worldwide.  Their comments make the most sense to me.  Though some of the comments from the Scott Newman are sensible, it seems like both he and the organization he heads could show - and could have shown - a bit more humanity in dealing with individual athletes such as Hunter-Galvan.  While I have little patience or tolerance for any cheat, I continue to have the sense that the real roots of the PED issue and the greatest share of blame lie with the organizations that run and regulate the sport.  Being harsh on Hunter-Galvan, while not entirely without just cause, seems rather tardy and misplaced.  What she did was an entirely predictable response to the culture created by the policies put in place by the system of governance.
