Don't ask me how but I ended up on the 1998 Lakefront Marathon men's results page today. Of course, 1998 predates me in the Milwaukee area, outside of a 5 month stint renting a place in Milwaukee, working a co-op in Menomonee Falls, and running a single race (Samson Stomp - 2nd to Henry Dennis in the now defunct 10K). I didn't know any Milwaukee area runners at that time so it was fun looking through the results to see how many names I now recognize. I was actually somewhat surprised by how many there were. It was also fun to see the times. I thought some of the other Milwaukee area runners might like to have a blast from the past, so
here it is.
