what a horrendous thing to happen to people who, in large part, were already suffering so much even before this.
While individual efforts may seem small (they are, of course, not small when they are all we can make and they are obviously not small when millions of us gather together our resources to help), I'm once again floored and incredibly proud of my employer's efforts in this instance. Along with a company-wide fund raising effort for the Red Cross for which employee contributions are being matched dollar for dollar by the company's charitable foundation, the corporate jet was packed nose to tail, floor to ceiling, with medical supplies that were supplied by the company's medical division and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and flew in only a couple of days after the earthquake to deliver those supplies.
