Random time thing
« on: March 14, 2010, 09:29:45 PM »
The forum clock on my profile page didn't adjust for daylight savings time. Why is that?

I know this isn't what you want to hear but I'm not sure why. It appears that mine did. Real helpful, right?

Well, here's something that's of more help. Go to this link (or click Profile in the menu on top, then hold your mouse cursor over Modify Profile and select Look and Layout from the menu). You should see a Time Offset setting near the top of the settings on this page. Either click auto detect, which should work if your computer time zone settings are set up and javascript is enabled, or manually set the offset (from Central Time, which is where the server is located). Click the Change profile button at the bottom and your settings will be saved.

Let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue for you. Also, if anyone else is having this time issue, let me know. If it's a widespread problem, I can report it as an issue in the software.
