Some of you may remember Jim2 from other forums. He has posted a few times here so maybe you even remember him from here. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer last week.
I didn't always agree with Jim, though I often did, but I always respected him for his thoughtful comments and his ability to disagree with someone in a respectful way - something that I think most of us know can be very difficult to do online at times. Even if you didn't agree with him, you knew he wasn't disrespecting you and you knew he did his homework and wasn't just shooting from the hip.
Jim had been archiving some of his posts on a personal page that will probably in the near future be lost. A few months ago, when it looked like his battle was taking a turn for the worse, Jim and I discussed moving his page to Hillrunner.com so his thoughts would not be lost forever when his provider pulled the plug on his personal page. So, when I heard the news, I didn't hesitate to begin copying his pages over. Most of what he has on his personal page is now available here and what isn't will hopefully be soon. In fact, if you find something to be missing or broken, please let me know.
Jim's continued insights will be missed but I hope that, with a little help, the insights he has shared over the years can continue to help runners for some time to come.http://www.hillrunner.com/jim2http://www.webfh.com/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=300892&fh_id=10498&ck=1
