Will Solinsky continue to shine ?

Will it be Rupp's sub 13:00

I think Solinsky is in line for another good one. Looking through the start list at the above link, he's among 10 with PRs under 13:00 and 8 who have run under 13:00 this year. There are others who are just a slight bit short of that barrier. The competition definitely will be there. As for Rupp, it looks like I'm not alone in expecting a narrow miss in his attempt at sub-13.

I'll pick Solinsky for a top 5 finish, quite possibly a podium finish, in 12:53. I think Rupp will come up short of his goal but still run a solid PR in the 13:04 range.

Well, at least I was consistent. I was 3 seconds optimistic for both Solinsky and Rupp. Still a PR for Rupp and Solinsky's third sub-13 of the summer. While I'm sure neither is thrilled with his performance, I'd have to say neither should be considered a letdown.
