It looks like I don't have to click submit this year so everyone has right up to the 5:00 deadline to sign up.

Our current team, assuming no last minute additions, is full of HillRunner.com veterans. Thanks to all for signing up and a special thanks to Ed and Double for their help in the recruiting efforts.

Current roster:

Weather report doesn't look so good right now.  In the 60s with 50% chance of Thunder Showers.

Let's hope that changes a bit.  I am hoping it is a bit cooler and no rain.

It's all a guess right now. One site says 50% chance of thunder showers. Another says overcast with 0% chance of rain. Another says mostly sunny. Regardless, we all will be running in the same thing. I almost hope the weather is bad. If a few others get psyched out by the weather, that's a few more people I have a chance to beat.

Now the report shows 60s, sunny, no rain and light winds from a southerly direction.

I suppose if I look at it from a perspective of placing higher than last year versus a faster time I would agree with your comment of "less favorable" conditions.

I am geeked about this race.

We go run, tell lies, do the best we can.  No pressure, just uncut the bomb and see what happens.

Well, we ran, told some lies and did the best we could.  With no pressure - we won!
