Al's run needs volunteers
« on: October 06, 2010, 11:37:48 AM »
Hello Friends.
You may or may not be aware of this, but as the race director for the Briggs and
Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital, I rely on hundreds of volunteers to pull
off a successful event.  This year’s event is Saturday October 9th, and we are
running short on volunteers, and could really use your help.
Volunteers receive a volunteer shirt and may attend the volunteer party held
immediately afterward located at the finish line across the street from the Italian
Community Center on Chicago St.  The Party Includes Lunch and assorted beverages,
including some provided by The Milwaukee Ale House.
If you, or better yet, you and your family, care to join us for this great cause, we
would love to have you.  Just respond to this email and include the names and shirt
sizes of your volunteers.  From there we’ll respond with specific directions on
where to report.  Volunteer shifts typically run from 8:30 AM to around noon.
(FYI.  Weather Forecast Calls for Sunny Skies and temperatures in upper 60’s.)
Thank You for Your Support.
