I think the people that wine about the cold really don’t like to run that much. They want to hear other people tell them that it’s ok to take the day off. If they truly liked to run as much as they let on, they would find a way to get out there and get the run in.
They’re a “real” runner when it’s convienent for them to be like when they are talking to a non-runner. But throw a little cold weather at ’em and it’s, “I think I’ll lay on the couch today and eat cheetos and watch the snow fall.”
I ran a 9 miler today here in SD and the temp was 5f with a 8mph wind. Must of put the windchill at zero or less. I wouldn’t of had it any other way. It was warm compared to the -20 windchill I ran in a couple weeks ago.
Isn’t it funny when us midwestereners get some cold weather you don’t even here about it. Get some cold weather over on one of the coasts and it’s the end of the world. I get a kick out of reading the posts over on RW from the easterners, what a bunch of pansies!
Run well my friends,
