I was working on drumming up some excitement because you have this weekend to concentrate on. I am guaranteeing that (baring an injury) I will go 11 weeks of solid (nearly daily) work to include a good taper for Jingle Bell.
This week felt great even doing 44 miles so far, running all six days. I have lots planned even a couple of cutback weeks. The best I have ever done was 4 months with a two week fall out.
My goal was to train up hard, rip Jingle Bell and settle down for a good fall marathon to race and go sub three. I am going to continue base building (with strides twice weekly) until February when I will add all the other stuff like hill repeats, Max VO2, 1600s, 1200s etc… until a good time to find and stick with a marathon plan.
