I’ve used a knee strap, right below the knee for my slight issue with my femoral-patella tendon… I’ve carried it on my water carrier or on my race-ready paocket the last two marathons, one I put it on about mile 18 and the last time I didn’t need it at all, but having it made me more confident…

I’ve also started doing plie squats ( wide stance, toes apart, like ballet) and they have seemed to strengthen the muscles that support the knee… also I’ve curtailed some of my down hill running as that seems to make the situation worse…
