i would just like to caution against the kind of thinking that comes across in the original post. to win a state title in most states, it takes a lot of hard work, the ability to maintain a precise focus, and even a little bit of good fortune, too. you will know that you have a shot not by trying to figure out equivalencies to a time run in a random championship level race, but when you see that you are able to consistently out-race competition throughout the season. like making beating a certain individual one’s focus may easily end up in several others beating you who should not, making reaching a certain mark one’s focus may end up with that mark not being good enough the next time around. if i have misinterpreted, then please accept my apologies.
