YIKES… I have no idea how long the recovery is… but LISTEN to the doctor and follow his PT recommendations… really sorry to hear this, I’m sure everyone is cringing and reluctant to offer any advice at this point…

find out what else you can do for some physical outlet… when I went to pt for my ITB the therapist was kind enough to offer weight lifting as an immediate alternative… I was so uptight I did start some free weights which (I think) helped my running… the marathon after that was the first time I noticed my arms & shoulders never being tired…

so some good may come of all this… keep looking for that silver lining…
