I would say your recipe is simple.
More miles. Just spend the next 10 weeks building up your base. Forget the speedwork.
After that, go out and run as fast as you can. You probably won't PR, but most likely you will be happy with the result. If you still have the urge to compete then work in some speed stuff as you will already have your base.
Or you can adjust your goal and use the race as a different kind of training built into a program for another goal down the road.
