OK, now I will pipe in for one quick comment. A lot of people see pace workouts as tempo runs. It doesn't have to be. Depending on the intensity you want your workout to be, a pace workout could be as little as half mile repeats at marathon pace or 100 meter strides at 5k or 10k race pace. Same with all the other workouts. You don't have to make every workout a gut buster like you might at times during season.
