I have noticed that after a break of a day or so, I can rip it up on the treadmill. I go to the gym and run a minimum of 5k, 5 times a week. During my time off, I sit there thinking I should be running. When I get back to the gym, surprisingly I can run the 10k. I don't know what it is, but I think the time off does help in some way.
