Thanks – It was a nice day for a run in the woods – a nice breeze 50 at start and low 80s by the finish – It is a long way between aide stations and you really should have 2 hand helds or a hydration pack – Some runners did not and suffered.  Ladies record was shattered with a 7:45ish.

I fought GI problems and lost @ 30 minutes to it.  But I managed to stay well hydrated and well fueled, so it was a fun day.

Tough course, but nice race.  I think most people say its aabout 40-50 minutes slower than Ice Age 50M.  Low key event, but well run and they had beer post race this year – I like that!

Have never done it although I have always wanted to. You should definitely do it!
