I can't listen to the report at work – we have no speakers for our computers – I'll listen to it at home.

Is it really fair to compare the 1930's to 2008?  There was no TV or internet in the 1930's and not many Germans had telephones either in the 30's. 

I guess I am thinking that at least a couple of million Chinese have internet access – but maybe that is somehow censored as well.  A couple of million is only a very small portion of their population too – so that would not help much.

I guess that I am spoiled here in the US – so much so that – I can barely fathom the thought of how bad it is in China.  I know they have serious human rights issues and strict control – but its hard to imagine how strict it must really be there.

Where is China getting the money to buy all the US Bonds?  It can't be the crap bought here in the US – can it?  I just can't see that their profit margin is all that high with how low their goods cost.
