While I have some bad history at Lakefront due to weather conditions, it's potentially a fast course in the right weather conditions. As a point to point, nearly all north to south course, it's a roll of the dice. However, if the weather cooperates, it can be worth the gamble. The course is nearly all flat but it is net downhill, with the primary hill on the course being the drop down to the lakefront at the north side of Lake Park. It's also very well organized and coordinated.
If you don't mind taking the chance with the weather, I'd say go for it.
