Some people do 4, some do 10. Whatever works for you is right. My thought with 4 is that I don't want to make it into a workout, I just want to do enough to keep the legs turning over. One thing I have noticed, though, is that 15 seconds seems to be my upper limit in order to avoid turning it into more of a workout than intended.
