I don't think running a ton more mileage is a good idea. Your almost guaranteed to get injured doing that much running all of a sudden out of the blue (Even if not out of the blue 34, 66 miles a day is way overkill even for distance Olympians). Also, it would stress out your system too much that more problems would probably arise.
There is a forum I know of that can probably help you out way more then I can. And I think it would be more appropriate for this type of question. But I am not sure I can post links to sites because I think its against the rules. I can always PM you though (Which I just did so check you inbox).
And NEVER EVER go on any medication if you can (Its good that you refused). As that can wreak havoc on your body and create more problems in the future.
