There are only a couple of things I have corrected or correct during a run.
1 – I am constantly telling myself to stand up straight.
2 – I have a tendency for my stride to get too long when I get tired so I remind myself to shorten it up a bit.
#2 is something I figured out recently after having battled some tendonitis in my left achilles. Once I started to make sure my stride was a bit more compact and I wasn't landing so much on my heel it went away. I also noticed myself having much more stamina during long runs.
Other than that I just do what feels right.
