Hello Double,

A few years back, I also worked on stride frequency to great benefit. In the first workout where I increased stride frequency, it was immediately obvious that I'd been overstriding and braking with each stride. So, I began to focus on acquiring a quicker, mid-foot strike and within a short time, that began to feel natural. Though I still struggle with injuries from time to time, I have had fewer injuries since then.
