Ryan…ok, I understand what you mean by negative returns now. We were just looking at it differently. I still don't think I agree with you on the point of diminishing returns though. Probably just different definitions again and not important anyway. I do get your feedback on the value of more mileage. In fact, I just finished last week at 40 miles. I don't see any reason I can't get to 60-70 miles/week and still get in a couple of other hard workouts. So I'm bumping the long run back up a bit. We'll see how it goes.
Ed…I am planning more hill work than I've done in the past. I haven't figured out how I'm going to get it in yet. I don't much like “travelling” to go do a run. I may end up doing some of it on the dreaded treadmill.
