No strides for me yet. I'm working on getting up to at least an hour a day first, then I'll throw some more things like strides in there.

As for rest days, I think Double and I take a similar approach. Don't schedule the rest days, take them when you need them. For example, today I was so sick I could barely walk so I took a day off. Not planned but it's what my body needed. I haven't schedule a day off in at least 2 years and it has worked quite well for me.
