I guess it does work for some – like Dean K. when running 200-300 miles – “just to the next ???”
I think I kinda use that strategy sometimes – when on the (Yuck) T-mill – just another 1/4 mile – then just another 2.5 minutes – then just another 1/4 mile – – until I hit my original goal. However, I alternated with whatever it took to hit another milestone ie., 8 miles, then 70 minutes, then 9.25 miles, then 84 minutes, then etc. . . .
