I'll always cast a vote for hydration as it's such a nebulous topic unless you get on a scale before & after the race…temps can be deceiving (as Ryan alluded to, if your not used to them)…

but I'll also suggest that the downhills take more out of your quads then you'd like to believe… even if you've raced the course before (as you have)…
