I wonder if you could call my plan “no-plan” training. I just want to run every day between 1-3 miles farther than my next race (except my long-run day that will end up double race day distance.) I will start speed work during those runs in the form of unplanned (going by how I feel that day) fartleks, intervals and progression runs. I have no plan to do certain runs on certain days at so many days/ weeks before my next race. Just go by feel after I re-establish my base and on a whim.
If that doesn't work for Fish Day – then I will create a good plan for Al's.
