Indeed. The pressure of being labeled a prodigy and the expectations that come along with such a label at such a young age are often the undoing of many very good runners with a lot of potential. A lot of times, it's better to fly under the radar until one is older.
I hope this guy gets a chance to develop and, 10 years from now, we all know his name. However, at this point in time, I hope he is just allowed to do his own thing (with some good guidance, of course) and is allowed to find his own way. Without the ability to do that right now, he may not find his full potential later.
