This is a truly sad situation. Tuesday, I linked to a report on Kibet getting attacked when he and a friend were helping a man who had been shot. Now, it looks like he and a few friends again got attacked. Fortunately, they are all safe.
No matter what we're hearing in the news, the situation in Kenya is still bad. Hopefully, some resolution will be reached soon that will end the violence. This has gone on way too long.
This afternoon, for the second time in under two months, World Marathon champion Luke Kibet has survived an attempt on his life in Kenya.
The attack comes as a tragic blow at a time when Kibet’s personal situation after recovering from the first assault seemed to be returning to normality.
