Hello All, I'm new to the forum. I've read posts but haven't posted before. I'm facing Meniscus surgery on both knees. (One at a time.) I keep hearing that I'll be back to normal in 6-8 weeks. This is obviously from non runners. I haven't had a killer run or pain free run since Thanksgiving. I guess I'd like to hear from anybody who has had this surgery. Was it worth it to YOU ? Did it fix YOUR pain? Are YOU back to running? I realize all injuries are different and people of different ages heal at different rates. In the long run we're you able to get out there and run relatively pain free? Thanks in advance.
