    was AMAZING!! (And I didn't even mess myself).  I tried really hard to force myself to run slowly, the first half I was able to keep everything between 8:45-9:05/mile.  I couldn't believe how good I felt by 15, so I really stepped it up….I ran the last 5 around 8:15.  I finished up real strong, and knew I could run another 6.2.  My goal of 4:00 seems very realistic, I could probably lower it a little bit, but I want to have a good first marathon experience and I think meeting your goal is a crutial aspect in that.

    I'm really excited to taper, but I wish race day was here already!! I can't think of many things that I've worked harder for…
