I have a small problem….I love to run but my knees hate it! I think I was cursed with tempormental knees because the list of ailments grows longer everyday. I am 6’4″ so like most other tall kids I have Osgood-Schlatters. Along with O.S. I have calcium deposits in my knees from previous fractures that tend to cause swelling when I run….. I am tired of popping 1600 mg of Ibuprofen and icing down my knees to get swelling down. Are there any other alternatives in the form of strengthening exercises to prevent this? Sorry if I sound whiney. I am really a happy guy in real life!
