INDIANAPOLIS – Walter Davis has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after his world-leading performance in the men’s triple jump Friday at the LSU Twilight Invitational in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The 2003 World Indoor silver medalist, Davis leaped 17.62 meters/57 feet, 9.75 inches to win.
