The time has come again! Your chance to ask me anything you would like. As I always seem to mention, this is always one of my favorite things to do.
Almost nothing is off limits. Feel free to ask me about training, racing, my thoughts on running during these wild times we have been facing and will continue to face for some time, what’s going on at HillRunner.com. This is my invitation to you to ask whatever you would like.
As usual, you can reach out to me however you feel most comfortable. If you want to ask something publicly, you can do so in the comments, on Facebook, you can tweet at HillRunner.com or my personal account. If you want to ask in a more private setting, you can use the contact form or, if you are friends with me on Facebook or know my email, you can reach me through those methods.
As I’ve done in the past and would like to do more consistently, I’d like to ask you a question:
If nothing was off limits, what would you like to see happen at HillRunner.com in 2021? As with questions, feel free to reach out to me via any of the methods above. Nothing will be considered too wild to at least be considered. So please let me know.
Hey Ryan, How its been going there? What is your current weekly mileage and how many times per week are you running?
Hi Cesar, it’s going as well as can be expected in this crazy year. I don’t think anyone is having smooth sailing in this year but I’ve found plenty to be happy with, which I consider a real victory in this time.
The running is going pretty well. Worked through a few things this year but I feel like I have most of those things behind me and am ready to get after it for 2021. Right now, I am tending to settle into the mid-50s on my non-cutback weeks, more in the 30s on my cutback weeks. I am running 7 days a week with a few extra runs per week with my daughter that I consider supplements to my regular running and, most important, experiences I wouldn’t give up for anything. I promised myself back in March that, as long as I’m working from home, I will make sure I get outside for some kind of activity at least 30 minutes every day. There have been walks and bike rides mixed in but, recently, I’ve been pretty solid with running at least 30 minutes every day.
