Summer running

Summer has arrived! Or at least it feels like it here in Wisconsin!

Running in the summer is great! However, especially if the weather gets extreme, it does require some preparation and adjustments.

Find YOUR right path

One of the runners I’m currently coaching has unfortunately had a longer injury history than anyone should have to deal with. For good reason, this runner wants to proceed with extreme caution.

This runner also likes many activities and wants to find a place for them all. From yoga and Pilates to some unique but very effective forms of cross training, there is a lot to fit into the schedule.

Your watch lies (sort of)

Liar! (Well, sort of…)

Modern watches are amazing devices, measuring distance more accurately all the time, not to mention all the other amazing things they measure with ever increasing accuracy.

However, if you’ve ever relied on your watch on race day, you know it lies. Why and what should we do about it?
