Team HillRunner.com: 2019 Al’s Run

Team HillRunner.com

It’s that time of the year again! Time to sign up for Al’s Run with Team HillRunner.com!

The veterans know the drill. For those of you who have not been Team HillRunner.com members before, here are the quick details.

Team HillRunner.com gets together usually just once a year at Al’s Run. Everyone is welcome to join the team. This is a great opportunity to meet people you may or may not know through the site, catch up with old friends, and make some new friends.

After the race, I invite team members out to my house for a cookout, which is a great opportunity to get to know your team members better and catch up with old friends. The location isn’t the most convenient from downtown Milwaukee but the trip is worth it.

Team members get a free HillRunner.com singlet or t-shirt and I usually have some other swag available for anyone interested.

If you haven’t run before and are going to be in the Milwaukee area on September 14th, I’d encourage you to sign up. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to meet some new friends.

Date: Saturday, September 14th
Time: 10:30am race start, I’d encourage everyone to arrive by 9:30am
Location: Downtown Milwaukee (starting on the Marquette campus, finishing near the Summerfest grounds)
After race party: Ryan’s home in Slinger, starts whenever we get there, ends when Double is out of stories
Who can join? Everyone! First 5 across the line score for the team but I would love to see a much larger crew. It’s always thrilling for me personally to see each and every one of you, regardless of ability, put on that HillRunner.com uniform and represent this broader community.

Note: I will update details and push this topic back to the top at least a few times over the summer as important dates approach.

    1. I’ll be running (and HillRunner.com will be sponsoring) the Hootie Hustle 5K on August 24th. Hoping to get one other race in before then but first need to make sure the body is in good condition.
